On March 7, 2020, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that it has raised its travel notice level to Level 2: Alert for France, Germany and Spain, in the wake of rapid increases in the numbers of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases including cluster of infections in these countries. Given the increased risk of infection, the CECC also advised travelers visiting these countries to take enhanced precautions. Furthermore, travelers entering Taiwan from these countries are subject to a 14-day period of self-health management.
